The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We loved the cozy breakfast rooms on the fifth floor, which offered a lovely view while enjoying our meals. Another great feature was the small supper area next to the lobby, perfect for a quick bite. The location was ideal, close to public transport and just a short walk into the downtown area.

The only drawback was the slippery bottom of the bathtub. It would have been helpful to have a rubber mat or some kind of grip to prevent accidents.

Convenient location near transportation, grocery stores, and shopping district. Tea and coffee provided in room, comfortable bed and functioning heater. Larger room with enough space for two people and pets. Free city pass available. Strong WiFi on 3rd floor. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with fresh and customizable options.

A wonderful experience at Spalentor! My room was facing a bustling street, but the windows effectively muffled the noise. The location near a city gate was ideal, with easy access to the train station. The front-desk staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

On arrival, I was delighted with my upgraded comfort room which had everything I needed, including a Nespresso machine. Although I didn't use it, the hotel provides free city transport pass. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Basel for several nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was excellent, close to the historic district and within walking distance of multiple restaurants. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft mattresses and pillows. The hotel offered a great breakfast buffet, and I particularly appreciated the card they provided for free transportation. The staff were helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.

This hotel is in an ideal location with great transport links to all parts of the city, including the old town. The trolley stop is right outside the door, and it's easy to get to the two central train stations in town. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom, and the breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a nice view from the room.

There was some noise from the surrounding area, which made it hard to sleep at times.

I absolutely loved the spacious room with wooden flooring, a comfortable bed, and plenty of natural light from the large windows. The bathroom was spotless with new fixtures and good lighting. The breakfast on the 5th floor offered a beautiful view and a well-stocked buffet with high-quality food. The staff was exceptional, from the friendly receptionists to the helpful housekeeping and breakfast staff. The hotel's location next to the old town gate and close proximity to tram stops made it convenient for exploring Basel.

It is situated in a quiet neighborhood, with a stop on the efficient public transit system just across the street. The service here is truly exceptional, from the welcoming staff at the reception desk to the attentive service during breakfast. They are always ready to help with any request you may have. The amenities in the rooms are top-notch, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a mini-bar. This place also offers a range of leisure facilities, such as a fitness center, game room, and a lovely garden area. The free Wi-Fi and luggage storage are definitely a plus!
